Get Active Sports, a successful sports club and camp delivers over 9,000 activity sessions per month to schools across the UK. The business offers high-quality PPA cover, PE tuition, staff CPD, extra-curricular clubs, breakfast and afterschool childcare, as well as holiday camps, fetes and fundraising events and parties.
The buyer runs Progressive Sports, another successful business within the sports sector. With over 15 years of experience within the sector, the buyer wishes to continue to build on the sound foundations the original owner built and ensure the business continues to grow.
The buyer confirmed: “We’re so excited to have completed the acquisition of Get Active Sports. The company complements our core business perfectly and is a great cultural fit. The owners have built a great business that we’re looking forward to improving and scaling up further. The acquisition of Get Active Sports is also part of our long-term aim to create a group of companies within the Sports Education and Children’s Activity Sector.”
