Altius Corporate Finance is delighted to announce the sale of Glenhaze Ltd to McLaren Packaging Ltd.
Glenhaze Ltd, a manufacturer of sustainable protective packaging solutions, is located in West Lothian, Scotland, with McLaren Packaging situated in nearby Glasgow. With the move away from plastic in favour of more eco-friendly alternatives offered by paper-based packaging and products, businesses like Glenhaze are in high demand in an industry that is rapidly shifting towards more environmentally friendly and feasible packaging solutions. In this shifting environment, companies consistently strive to bolster their green credentials, and McLaren Packaging is no exception.
From the client’s side, Gary McCulloch of Glenhaze Ltd said: “it’s such a relief to be where we are today, McLaren Packaging are a great buyer for the business, who will look after the business and all my employees and customers in the future. I couldn’t have done it without you.”
Located in Glasgow, McLaren Packaging does not only offer Glenhaze the advantage of being geographically close-by, but it is already a well-established multi-million-pound company offering a variety of packaging solutions to customers. By adding Glenhaze to the McLaren packaging family, the business is able to offer the market a wider range of specialist products.
Going forward, the symbiotic nature of Glenhaze and Mclarens product range, offers their clients a complete solution to their packaging requirements. Including transportation protection for high value products through to exquisite quality retail packaging. McLaren does not simply mass-produce boxes but offers bespoke packaging at the required and desired measurements. The company plans to take advantage of Glenhaze’s brand-new machinery and cutting-edge facilities to offer customers additional packaging solutions. This will also help both businesses in greatly expanding their customer base.
Alasdair Miller of McLaren Packaging said: “Thank you Vickie. Well done, you have done a great job helping keep things on track and driving it to completion (and keeping a cheery disposition throughout which is remarkable!).
